Gameboy Color

The Game Boy Color, released by Nintendo in 1998, was the successor to the original Game Boy and introduced color graphics while remaining backward compatible with earlier games. It featured an 8-bit processor, a small color screen, and long battery life. Popular titles included Pokémon Gold and Silver, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, making it one of the most iconic handheld consoles of its era.
